The War Media Cell said Thursday that the agricultural research department, H2 area and H1 airbase in western Anbar were liberated from the control of Daesh terrorist group.

The units of Anbar operations freed Alkaarh region, Umm al Waz village, al Hussainiat and al Nadira areas as well as Saad air base, Al Sumaria News channel quoted a statement by the cell as saying.

The Iraqi forces launched Thursday morning a military campaign to liberate Rawah and Qaim in western Anbar from the control of Daesh.
