Israeli occupation troops arrested Wednesday Bassem al Tamimi, the father of the Palestinian girl who was detained at dawn Tuesday for attacking Israeli soldiers.

Tamimi was apprehended while attending a trial session for his daughter, Ahd. The girl's mother, Nariman, was also arrested with her husband when she went to see her at the Israeli police station and asked to attend the interrogation with her for being a minor.

The Israeli prosecution is trying to present accusations against Ahd in a serious form stating charges of hitting a conscript, constant instigation and attempting to drag Israeli soldiers into an ambush outside her home.
