South Sudanese President Salva Kiir

South Sudanese President Salva Kiir on Thursday accused Sudan of being a "source of weapons" used in South Sudan's brutal civil war that has killed tens of thousands of people.

"If there is someone who can accuse the other, it is me who can accuse Sudan," said Kiir at a joint press conference with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir in Khartoum.

"Sudan now is the source of weapons that are going to South Sudan and creating problems for us."
