Malaysia on Monday summoned the North Korean ambassador over his accusation that Kuala Lumpur was conspiring with "hostile forces" as it investigates the murder of leader Kim Jong-Un's half brother, the foreign ministry said. Raja Nushirwan Zainal Abidin, Deputy Secretary General for Bilateral Affairs spoke with ambassador Kang Chol at the ministry on Monday morning, according to a statement. "The Ministry emphasised that as the death occurred on Malaysian soil under mysterious circumstances, it is the responsibility of the Malaysian Government to conduct an investigation to identify the cause of death," it added. |
