The Trump administration is slowly but surely coming around to a more hawkish, traditional Republican stance on China, Josh Rogin wrote in The Washington Post of Monday.

In his article, he said several signs of the shift will be evident, if not obvious, during the president’s trip to Asia. But the real movement will play out in the weeks after US President Trump returns home.
