A senior security source said on Monday the organizers of New Cairo’s concert in which a number of youths promoted their homosexual orientation had not obtained security permits.

Security forces arrested a person responsible for filming and promoting the concert on his Facebook page, the source said, adding a number of people who raised the LGBT flags at the concert were identified and measures are underway to arrest them.

The source said the musicians’ syndicate will ban the band of the concert from performing any shows in Egypt in the future.
