Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Diab ِal Louh on Wednesday called on the international community to assume responsibility and stand up to Israel's violations in the Palestinian territories.

Addressing an Arab League ceremony to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Louh said the world countries should intervene to end the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories and force Israel to respect international resolutions on the Palestinian issue.

He also urged empowering the Palestinian people to assume their political rights freely in order to achieve comprehensive peace in the Middle East region.
