Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Riad Malki on Tuesday hailed the Egyptian role in support of the Palestinian cause, especially following a US decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem.

During a farewell meeting with Egypt's Ambassador to Palestine Sami Morad on Tuesday, Malki hailed the Egyptian support showed by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in all international forums through communication between the Palestinian and Egyptian leadership.

He also praised the role of the Egyptian media in supporting the Palestinian cause.
