Parliament's legislative and constitutional affairs committee revoked Sunday the membership of MP Sahar el Hawari after a court ruling was issued against her.

The Criminal Court has sentenced el Hawari to prison over bankruptcy.

The committee revoked el Hawari's membership during a meeting chaired by deputy head of the committee and MP Ahmed Helmy.
