French police raided the Paris home of French right-wing candidate Francois Fillon on Thursday as part of a probe into allegedly fake parliamentary jobs given to his wife, several sources told AFP.

The raid took place earlier in the day in a wealthy area in the centre of the capital and "finished several hours ago", according to a source in Fillon's campaign team, confirming similar information from another source close to the case.
