Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Marks Diocese received Wednesday Japanese Ambassador here Takehiro Kagawa in St. Mark Coptic Orthodox Cathedral.

The pontiff visited Japan as part of his recent pastoral tour and inaugurated there the first Coptic church.
