Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will continue the "diplomatic marathon" on settlement of the situation in Syria, the president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said in an interview with the Rossiya 1 television channel on Sunday.

"President Putin had organized a busy diplomatic marathon. It, of course, will continue anyway," he said, adding "there will be much work to do," Tass reported.
