Romania's Social Democrat premier Sorin Grindeanu refused to step down Wednesday despite the ruling left-wing party withdrawing its support from his government.
"I will only resign once President Klaus Iohannis has held talks with the parties and announces that he is nominating a new prime minister from the (Social Democrat) PSD", Grindeanu said.
