Buses carrying thousands of evacuees from besieged Syrian towns resumed their journey Saturday after an hours-long delay and a deadly bomb attack, a monitor said.
The car bombing killed at least 43 people, most of them from regime-held Fuaa and Kafraya, as the buses were held up in a rebel-controlled zone, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The evacuation had been interrupted Friday over disagreements between rebels and the regime.
