Syrian government forces on Friday took control over al Rashdia district and stormed al Hawiqa district in Deir Ezzor, the Syrian television reported.

The state television added that the Syrian forces have found large amounts of ammunition and explosives in al Rashdia district and the army units continue purging freed districts in the city, according to Russia Today channel.

The army managed to control the district after killing a large number of terrorists and destroyed their weapons and vehicles.
