One hundred Egyptian youth left here Thursday for Russia to participate in an international youth conference in Sochi in the presence of 20,000 youth from 150 countries and 7,000 volunteers to organize the event.

Head of Egypt's delegation to the World Festival of Youth and Students 2017 (WFYS2017) said the 100 Egyptian participants from the various governorates will participate in the festival that is to involve cultural, political, economic, science, educational, environment and sports events.

Sherif Gad was speaking before the delegation's departure to Russia to attend the WFYS2017, slated for October 14 to 24.
