People look at Alberto Giacometti's 'Man Pointing'

A bronze statue by Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti sold for more than $141 million in New York on Monday, setting a new record for the world's most expensive sculpture sold at auction.

"Man Pointing," which is a wiry, nearly six-foot (1.8-meter) man holding up one hand and pointing with the other, was sold by Christie's for $141.285 million after furious bidding.
