Medium rains hit Alexandria city on Sunday, but did not affect traffic movement in the Mediterranean city.

Ship traffic at Alexandria and Dekheila straits was not disrupted by the rain.

The ship movement in the ports is going on normally, an official source at Alexandria Port Authority said.

All necessary measures were taken to avoid water accumulation as more vacuum trucks were deployed across the Mediterranean city to suck water off streets.
