Quake claims 535 casualties in Iraq

The 7.3-magnitude quake that struck near the border between Iran and Iraq left seven people dead and 528 others wounded in Iraqi governorates.

Some 321 injury cases were reported in Kurdistan region alone.

No deaths were reported in Baghdad.

The earthquake was centered about 19 miles outside the eastern Iraqi city of Halabja on Sunday.

According to Iranian authorities, the tremor killed 328 people and left 3,950 injured in Iran.
