Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Iraqi Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs Abdul Hussain Abdul Redha Abtan. 
Shaikh Nasser lauded the growing relations between both countries and keenness to further enhance them at all levels. He discussed with the Iraqi Youth and Sport Affairs Minister ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation mainly in the youth and sport field.
The Iraqi minister underlined his country’s keenness to boost cooperation with Bahrain, lauding the kingdom’s efforts to promote the youth and sport momentum. He also stressed the importance of the meeting in availing of both countries’ experiences in the youth and sport field..
