After winning silver the medal at the 2015 Singapore SEA Games, Indonesia's water skier Nur Alimah Priambodo is eyeing the gold medal next at the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games (KL2017) next month.
The 19-year-old who hails from Surabaya said her performance was at a better level now compared then in the Lion City two years ago.
She admitted that to scoop a gold medal in Malaysia would not be an easy task as she will have to compete with Malaysia's water ski queen, Aaliyah Yoong Hanifah, who is also the defending champion.
"My skills are increasing day by day and now are better than the last SEA Games. I have a big chance to get the silver medal in Kuala Lumpur next month but it's not impossible for me to win the gold.
"She's (Aaliyah) good and of course way better than me. It\'s not easy to beat her but I will do everything I can and I believe in this sport anything can happen," she told Bernama after performing in the women's open slalom event at the pre-SEA Games water skiing championship at the Putrajaya Water Sports Complex, here, today....
