Egypt's national volleyball team reached fifth in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's U23 World Championship held in Cairo, after beating its Japanese counterpart 4-0 on Friday.
The match to decide the fifth and sixth place in the tournament was held in Cairo Stadium's indoors hall.
The Egyptian team overcame its Japanese counterpart in the first half by a score of 15-8 and 15-9 in the second half. The Egyptian team also dominated the third and fourth halves by scoring 15-12 and 15-11 respectively.
