Egypt’s handball team lost to Sweden 27-35 in the third round of the second group of the 2017 IHF Men’s Junior World Championship being held in Algeria from 18 to 30 July.
Following the defeat, the Egyptian team will be at the end of the group along with Qatar, while France and Slovenia lead the group with 5 points equally. 
Egypt’s handball team were put in the second group, alongside France, Denmark, Slovenia, Sweden and Qatar, the tournament’s draw showed.
