Weather will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea.

Fair weather conditions are expected to prevail on Monday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be moderate in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) daily brief said.

Clouds at various altitudes are also forecast with a chance for showers in the eastern and central areas of the country, accompanied by thunder and lightning at times mainly in the eastern regions. The weather will start to stabilize in the evening with southeasterly moderate to brisk winds, the JMD added.

Maximum daytime temperatures expected for today in Amman, the northern and southern cities will range between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius, dropping down to 10 degrees at night. The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 28 degrees Celsius and lows standing at 16 degrees at night.

Similar weather conditions will continue to prevail over the next two days, while winds will be southeasterly moderate changing to northwesterly moderate, the department noted.
