Rise in temperatures expected

Hot weather is expected to continue across the Kingdom, as temperatures continue to be above their seasonal average, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
A rise in temperatures is also expected over the coming two days, sending mercury levels up to 5 degrees Celsius above seasonal average, the JMD noted. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk. Similar weather conditions will continue on Monday the department added.
Temperatures for the coming three days will reach a high of 36 degrees Celsius in Amman, dropping to 23 at night. In the northern and central regions, temperatures will reach a high of 32 and a low of 23, while in the Gulf of Aqaba, the temperatures will hit a high of 42 degrees Celsius and a low of 27 at night.
