Latest weather forecasts point out that the Arabian Gulf and Peninsula region will likely be affected by a deep low atmospheric mass in the stratosphere with chances of air turbulences and possibility for rainfall associated with thunder over the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's northern and northwestern regions. Temperatures are expected to drop to zero degree Celsius in these regions on Friday, November 25.
The Kingdom of Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region will be affected by unstable weather conditions on Thursday, November 24. There is a chance for varying amounts of rain showers associated with thunder on Friday and Saturday associated with active to strong easterly winds and high sea waves. There Meteorological Directorate urged everybody to take the necessary precautions, especially sea-farers during the said period.
This period of the year is a transition from summer to winter season with abundant weather fluctuations and rainfall due to fast moving low atmospheric masses that affect the Arabian Gulf and the Peninsula causing unstable weather conditions over these regions.
Weather in the Kingdom of Bahrain is expected to become stable from Tuesday, November 29, associated with active to strong and cool northwesterly winds.
