Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime as the region is hit by a low pressure, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperature is set to significantly drop and approach 3°C lower than its annual average. Sporadic rain showers, which could be torrential, is expected to fall on most districts along with occasional thunderstorms. Wind is southwesterly to westerly, light to moderate, active at times. Sea waves are medium to wavy.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 11°C and in Ramallah a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza.
PMD predicts weather on Thursday and Friday to remain the same. Temperature is expected to further significantly drop on Friday and approach 4-5°C lower than its annual average. Sporadic rain showers, which could be torrential, are expected on some areas along with occasional thunderstorms.
Saturday’s temperature is set to rise and approach the seasonal average with partially cloudy to clear and slightly cold conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime.
PMD warns people against slippery roads and the formation of floods in low areas.
