An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted 231km SE of Hihifo, Tonga at 17:28:05 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.3121 degrees south latitude and 172.109 degrees west longitude.
