The new Opel Vivaro is now more practical, more efficient and more appealing than ever before – and is now available to order. Driving the Opel all-rounder will soon be possible for an attractive entry-level price of 23,590 euros excluding VAT (28,072 euros incl. VAT, RRP in Germany). This is the price for the panel van variant L1H1 (4,998 / 1,971 mm); under the hood there is a new 1.6-liter turbo diesel engine with 66 kW/90 hp and 260 Nm torque.
Since the launch of the Opel bestseller in 2001, nearly 600,000 units of the first Vivaro generation have rolled off the assembly lines. The new Vivaro is set to grow this success. It has everything it takes to succeed: for the first time it combines the functionality of a light commercial vehicle with all the comfort and design appeal of a passenger car.
The van’s diverse variants are now longer, enabling increased load capacity and more cabin space. The interior of the new Vivaro features state-of-the-art IntelliLink infotainment technology and user-friendly navigation, as well as a range of clever equipment details such as the center front seat which folds down to create a desk, quickly and easily transforming the van into a mobile office. The new Vivaro is also extremely economical: it is available with two all-new turbo diesel engines in four output levels which offer reduced fuel consumption as low as 5.7 liters per 100 kilometers, with CO2 emissions down to 149 g/km – best-in-class values that also impact favorably on owners’ wallets.
