Chairman of the Egyptian Media Production City Company, Osama Heikal and head of “Effat” university in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia, Haifa Gaml El leyl, in presence of princess, Lolwa Al Faisal, signed a cooperation protocol that allows the university to benefit from the Media Production city expertise, as it is considered the largest media platform in the Arab region in training students to enter the media industry.
This protocol came within the plan to expand the city media and engineering training activity for neighboring countries. Heikal also discussed during his meeting with Dr Haifa ways of future cooperation and mutual visits between the city and the university.
The signing came during a graduation party attended by many public figures in the kingdom, where Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees and General Supervisor of “Effat” university, princess Lolwa Al Faisal honored Heikal for his contribution in Arab media, who in return gave her the city shield.
“Effet” university is the first women university in Saudi Arabia, built in 1999 and contains a lot of majors like, engineering, media, childhood education and management sciences. It helped educating many women who now become participants in the Saudi society.
