Cairo - MENA
The Cairo Criminal Court decided to review and inspect exhibits of the case of ousted president Mohamed Morsi and 10 co-defendants over spying and leaking classified documents about the state and its national security and armed forces to Qatar.
The decision was taken during a Tuesday session.
The court ordered a media gag on the trial.
Morsi, along with other leading figures of the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood, including its Guide Mohamed Badie, are accused of collaborating with foreign organizations – namely Gaza-based Hamas, an ideological offshoot of the Brotherhood – to commit acts of terrorism in Egypt.
