Egypt's Acting Consul in Paris Serenade Gamil held on Tuesday a luncheon for famous French singer Enrico Macias in recognition of his role in supporting Egypt's tourism sector.
Macias held recently several concerts in Cairo and Alexandria to encourage French tourists to visit Egypt.
Macias praised the warm reception he received during his stay in Egypt, as well as the historic role played by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to restore security and stability in Egypt.
For her part, Gamil underlined that the French singer is fond of the Egyptian and Arab heritage.
She added that the concerts, which Macias held in Egypt, reflect trust in Egypt's security despite the anti-terror war.
