Egypt has condemned the execution of one of the two kidnapped Japanese citizens by militants of Al-Qaeda terrorist splinter of Daesh.
In a press release on Sunday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Badr Abdel Aati described the execution as barbaric that contradicts with teachings of Islam.
He reiterated that terrorism is an international phenomenon that requires the coordination of regional and international efforts to eliminate terrorist groups that target security, stability and development in the whole world.
Meanwhile, he offered Egypt's condolences to the Japanese government and people.
