Fatah movement condemned on Saturday Israel after a number of Palestinian journalists and several others were injured when Israeli forces fired tear gas and percussion grenades during a rally in the West Bank on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day.
In a press release, Fatah's Information and Culture Commission, said such attack is a crime against international laws, asserting that these attacks underline that Palestinians need freedom and independence as well as an end of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.
These attacks also point out that the Israeli government is the enemy to press freedom in the world.
Meanwhile, the movement greeted Palestinian journalists on the World Press Freedom Day due on May 3.
