Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt Jamal Al-Shobaki mourned on Friday the death of iconic actor Ghassan Matar who died earlier on Friday.
The late actor, 77, died after his health status was rapidly deteriorated.
Matar, whose real name is David Arafat Hassan Rainy, was born in Palestine in 1938, lived in Beddawi refugee camp in northern Lebanon and took part in several Cinema and TV artworks.
The funeral will be held on Saturday after Zuhr (noon) prayers at Mostafa Mahmoud Mosque in Mohandeseen district of Giza.
