German pay-TV broadcaster Sky Deutschland will screen the world premiere of the new production of Verdi's "Falstaff": The opera will be transmitted live in 3D from the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona on Sky 3D on 13 December 2011. The title part will be sung by Alberto Mastromarino, the director is Daniele Rustioni. With the new version of "Falstaff", Italian movie director and documentary producer Luca Guadagnino will celebreate his opera début. He wants to illuminate the topic of jealousy with subtle irony.
