The trial of Akhbar el-Youm's two former editor-in-chiefs Ibrahim Seada and Ahdi Fadli over annually giving gifts to the government's senior officials was put off to September 27.
The postponement came until a report of the panel of experts assigned to review the case, is prepared for the court.
The two senior journalists face charges of giving more than EGP 161 million worth gifts to the government's senior officials and public figures over several years, causing damage to the public funds of their institution.
