Abdel Sadeq el Shorbagy was appointed as the board chairman of Rosa El Youssef magazine, while Ahmed el Basha was picked as the chief editor.
The National Press Authority decided also to extend the term of the board chairman of Dar Al Maaref Saeed Abdo for an additional year.
Head of the National Press Authority Karam Gabr, meanwhile, said his authority accepted the resignation of veteran journalist Alaa Thabet after being appointed as the editor-in-chief of Al Ahram because he cannot assume two posts at the same time.
