Doha - Petra
Jordanian embassy in Doha, Qatar launched its new website to develop and enhance consulate, cultural, labour and investment services to Jordanian and other communities in Qatar.
Jordan's Ambassador to Qatar, Zahi Smadi, told Petra that the move will ensure and enhance constant communication between the Jordanian community and other Arab communities residing in Qatar. He also called on the Jordanian community to visit the embassy for consular services and to complete their transactions as quickly as possible.
Smadi highlighed the Jordanian-Qatari ties, noting that these ties existed before Qatar became independent in 1971, as Qatar hosted a group of qualified Jordanian educational experts, judges, economists and military personnel in order to provide assistance to the Gulf state, thereby strengthening the fraternal bonds between the two countries.
The website, he said, has links to "The Amman Message" and "Jordan Tourism Board" websites, in addition to quick links about Jordan, including the National Anthem of the Kingdom, geographical map, culture and religions as well as information about the embassy's tasks and duties.
