The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office has demanded to block the Internet access to the video of the Islamic State supporters, containing threats to Russia, the office spokeswoman Marina Gridneva said on Wednesday.
“In connection with a video address by the Islamic State terrorist group militants to the Russian president with threats of terrorist acts and a “liberation” war in the North Caucasus, shown by the Al Arabiya TV and that appeared on the Internet yesterday, the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office ordered to send the materials to the Investigation Department of the Federal Security Service for the opening of a criminal case on the crime signs envisaged by Article 205, part 2 and Article 280.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (threat to stage a terrorist act and public calls for violation of Russia’s territorial integrity),” she said.
