President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Wednesday underlined the importance of upgrading vocational education in the coming period.
At a meeting with Minister of Education Tarek Shawky, he added that this approach is meant to groom students for their future life, said Presidential Spokesman Ambassador Alaa Youssef.
Shawky expounded at the meeting his vision for upgrading the educational system in general in line with international standards, the spokesman pointed out.
The minister also explained efforts for setting up Japanese schools in Egypt in a bid to enable the Egyptian student to compete with other students at the international level, added the spokesman.
