South Korea's Seoul National University (SNU) took 44th place in one of the most influential international university rankings released on Monday. South Korea had SNU and six other institutions of higher learning in the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2013-2014. SNU led the local pack, rising from 59th a year ago.
