Commenting on this occasion, Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray said:
"We express sincere thanks to HRH Princess Sabeeka for recognising Alba as a Company that champions equal opportunities at the work place.
At Alba, we recognise that corporate success is a collaborative effort, and we aim to continue to work towards creating opportunities for Bahraini women to succeed and achieve the Company's goals, thereby contributing to the economic development of Bahrain."
Alba is well-known as one of Bahrain's leading employers of women in the industrial sector, and undertakes numerous initiatives to empower them. In 2013, Alba launched the first-ever Women’s Vocational Training (VT) Programme in partnership with Tamkeen and as part of it, 10 Bahraini women were selected to undergo specialised training courses for vocational skills over a 24 month period. The VT Programme provided a platform to further develop and train women for career advancements in the Company.
