Cairo - MENA
Security sources at Cairo International Airport have said there is no available information on barring human rights barrister Amal Clooney from entering the country.
People undergo travel ban screening measures at their arrival or departure, the sources added.
"People cannot be screened any time and without a reason," they said.
In an interview with the Guardian, Clooney, a lawyer for one of the three al Jazeera journalists now jailed in Cairo, claimed that Egyptian officials threatened her team with arrest over criticizing Egypt's judicial system.
On Thursday, an Egyptian court ordered the retrain of the three journalists -Peter Greste, Baher Mohamed, and Mohamed Fahmy, whom Clooney represents, who were initially sentenced to between seven and 10 years in jail last June.
