The Arab League on Sunday waned of the systematic abuses against women in region due to terrorism.
In a press statement, the pan-Arab organization accused the Israeli occupation authorities of breaching all international and UN human rights conventions in dealing with Palestinian women.
The statement, also touched upon the plight of the civil conflict-traumatized Syrian women.
For the sixth year in row, Syrian women are suffering the heartrending pains of forced displacement, loss of beloved ones, indiscriminate violence, and falling prey for human traffickers, the Arab League said.
It urged all member states to join hands to put an end to the human rights violations and violence committed against women in the Arab region and to work for a better future for them.
It also noted that the League is focusing on efforts to formulate an Arab convention for countering violence against girls and women.
