The Arab Women Organization (AWO) and the Libyan embassy in Egypt reviewed Wednesday means of helping Libyan women who were forced to leave their homeland due to state of unrest in the state.
AWO Director General Mervat Talawy and Libyan embassy adviser for immigrants affairs Wfaa Heji discussed means of offering humanitarian aid to migrant Libyan women.
Talawy said the move falls within the framework of the organization's plan to help migrant Arab women in a number of Arab states that suffer armed confrontations.
Heji lauded the efforts exerted by the organization to support Arab women.
