Darul-Iftaa called on Wednesday for an immediate plan to combat sexual harassment.
The call came days after a sexual assault on a girl in Tahrir Square.
"The incident revealed a reality that has been spotted since years," Dr. Ibrahim Negm, the Mufti's adviser, said in a press release.
He urged reform campaigns to address such negative conditions in the country.
He suggested a national program to tackle moral looseness in the society
