Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Thursday honored 100 mothers of martyrs of police and army and Libya's recent massacre on the occasion of the Mother's Day.
The ceremony, sponsored by Al Bawaba News, was attended by a number of ministers as well as governors of Cairo and Giza.
Speaking to the attendees, Mahalab said "Our martyrs sacrificed themselves for their nation."
He greeted the martyrs' mothers, stressing that the blood of their sons would not be in vain.
