Iraqi army airstrike

At least 25 civilians, all women and children, were killed in a barrel bomb attack carried out by the Iraqi air force plane on Fallujah, Iraqi medical sources said on Thursday.

The barrel bombs fell on a maternity and children’s hospital, leaving at least 30 others injured, including staff, women and children.

Iraqi army planes dropped three barrel bombs on Fallujah Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

Fallujah, which is about 50 kilometers west of Baghdad, has been under the control of Daesh since 2014.
