Seoul - Yonhap
South Korean President Park Geun-hye asked U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-moon Friday to help restore dialogue between the two Koreas, Park's office said, shortly after the archrivals exchanged proposals for high-level talks.
Ban called Park to offer his New Year's greetings and the two discussed cooperation between South Korea and the U.N. and other issues of mutual interest, the presidential office, Cheong Wa Dae, said in a press release.
